Pesto. Burgers. Bread. Pottery. Music.
I spent a perfect Saturday morning at the Naplavka Farmers’ Market. One thing I love about the world is that cities always have farmers’ markets. Something about fresh food and booths that get the people going.
So my stroll down the market first consisted of checking out all my food options & my first food purchase was a piece of bread with some pesto on it. I tried two different kinds and one did taste like you were eating a christmas tree; the other one was delicious.
- God bless this lady & her pesto

They had amazing local olive hummus and homemade chips and the best salmon burger I’ve ever had. My roommate also got their smoked salmon ciabatta and loved it (clearly).
- Queen of taking photos with her food
While we ate our food, a small band called the Brownies were playing! They were pretty sweet if you ask me.

Also wouldn’t be a farmers’ market without some flowers.

In my opinion, this market is the best market in the city because it’s right along the river!

My roommates also bought some tomato soup and carrot cake. There was also a booth that had cheesy potatoes; where they scraped the cheese off a heated cheese wheel!

We then ended our stroll looking for something sweet to eat.
- Looking for some treats
It was a cold and a bit rainy Saturday morning but this farmers’ market is not one to be missed.
